Movie Review - Dr. Strange in Multiverse of Madness

 

      Hi and Asalamualaikum everyone, I want to review the movie Dr. Strange in multiverse of madness. To anyone who doesn’t know the film tells the story of how Dr. Strange solves a problem that suddenly pops up on his ex-girlfriend’s wedding day. A girl named America Chavez is being chased by evil beings because she wants to take power. Dr. Strange in another universe betrays him and tries to seize his power, but is unsuccessful because the creature stabs the dr. strange. The girl accidentally opens the portal to another multiverse, then Dr, strange pushes her into the portal and saves it but unfortunately, Dr. Strange dies from being stabbed by an evil being. In another universe Dr. Strange whom we all know meets America Chavez, the girl asks for help from Dr. Strange but at the same time, she does not trust Dr. Strange because in another universe she has been betrayed. But Dr. Strange in this universe wants to prove that he will protect and will not betray the girl. Then Dr. Strange managed to prove that he did not betray the girl and the girl managed to control his power and learn magic in the universe.

What I love about this film are the many comedies that are shown to keep the audience entertained and not bored to watch it, many also play with emotions like Wanda wants to live with her son in another universe while America Chavez wants to meet her mother again. Then what I don't like about the story because the storyline is slow and many are confused about why Wanda becomes evil, they have to watch Loki story, Wanda Vision and What If to know why Wanda becomes evil, if they don't watch those stories, they don't well understand why Wanda becomes evil. I gave it an 8/10 rating because the storyline was slow and had to watch previous stories as well.
